LAVA Protocol's cross-chain bridge enables seamless migration of BRC20 assets, like BTC, from native BRC to EVM-compatible chains, broadening user asset circulation. This technology enhances user experience by speeding up transfers, reducing fees, improving security, and ensuring multi-chain compatibility, offering a reliable and efficient platform for cross-chain asset transactions.
As a new DeFi protocol in the BTC ecosystem, LAVA Protocol aims to bridge the gap between the Bitcoin ecosystem and EVM-compatible chains. Utilizing the Multi-Bit engine and a network of relay nodes, it facilitates state transfers between Bitcoin and EVM chains like Ethereum, BNB, or Polygon.
The Multi-Bit relay system monitors BRC20 asset locking on Bitcoin and corresponding asset minting on EVM chains, enabling two-way exchanges. Economic incentives and a security deposit system ensure that the decentralized network of relay nodes can validate transactions, maintaining integrity across blockchains.
LAVA Protocol integrated technologies like Chainlink price feeds, Chainlink VRF for on-chain randomness, and The Graph for faster blockchain data access in Dapps, enhancing its tech stack for accurate asset conversion and secure transactions. By combining Bitcoin's high security with DeFi's interoperability, LAVA Protocol builds a bridge for asset circulation across different blockchains, providing new possibilities for cryptocurrency applications.
